I just imagined I would have been waiting for my PTS miami blue GT3 RS and received a message yesterday to pick up my car tomorrow...
I would assume that Porsche gets the car repaired though it seems that the front hit this metal bar, which actually seem to have stopped the car before drowning.
According to Trakcar the car was getting the brake calipers painted.
So they parked a car with no brakes next to an Amsterdam channel with no fence and let a guy move the car without letting him know that there where no brakes... Great idea...
Poor guy - Not his fault but he must been devastated - I would have been.
Lets hope he didn't get hurt physical in the accident.
Kobalt:No brake caliper:
PWSCD - Porsche weight saving caliper delete, costs you an additional 2.500 bucks (costs for water damage not included).
We're at the point where you can be the fastest or just sound like you're the fastest.
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.

To put the wheels back on that car without the brake calipers fitted, park it out front as if it were just a demo car on display, and not take any special precautions against it rolling away or some uninformed but otherwise authorised person trying to drive it is wrong on so many levels.

d997h:C'mon it is PDK - parking is engaged automatically, when you park the car.... ... The owner may think that this will become the most expensive caliper paint job ever...
You may have been just kidding when you wrote that , but in fact it's true that the parking brake acts on drums in the rear wheel brake disks, so the parking brake is engaged even if the calipers are removed. It just becomes a problem if you add a human to the mix.
