997 TT's red line is at 6750 rpm.
Overboost starts falling off at 4000 rpm and boost pressure drops to "non-overboost" level by 5000 rpm.

however, this car is very, very slow. More than 20s for 200kph-275kph. Very strange.

Here's a thought. With the owner being in Saudi Arabia, could the extreme heat there have influenced the performance by this much?

First of all-this is a TIP version! I belive that it is giiving us the answer who is faster in 0-300km/h, TIP or manual.
Second, I experienced same acceleration when I drove TIP. Even with SC on and floored throttle car is not as forcefull as manual above 250km/h... With manual when you shift from fifth to sixth gear at around 255-260km/h you get the extra kick(if you apply throttle perfectly after relasing the clutch) and car is going very fast till 300km/h.
This video remind me to SL55 AMG driving, same gearbox as well...

So two different videos. for 0-250 video.
The 100 seems to be on low 4's and 200 seems mid 13's also 100-200 seems low 9's.
It is better than E55 isnt it. E55(stock) 0-200km is about mid 14's when i check my knowledge.

I'm talking about the 294 km/h run. The E55 has no chance aginst it until after 200 km/h.
