    Yep, i love sport mode in my gallardo.

    Less flames come out the exhaust when it is engaged though. No joke.

    Just put down deposit for first GT2 in florida.

    Hope this is not a repost! Perfect combo of Turbo looks with the side-airvent and the GT3 styling... Still think that they need to make a more agressive exhaust

    Sunroof!? Apparently very important item on GT3/GT2 models for Porsche. Better handling as well...
    Sunroof on GT3 or GT2 is big for me.

    Nice with the led-indicators from the Turbo and no foglights....
    Strange that they don't fit this car with the new led taillights.. but maybe we'll see that on the production version!

    Exactly. The best thing is we don't see these ugly foglight-warts at the GT2.

    yes strange..

    but also the Turbo cabrio has the same taillights and if they fit the tail lights of the revised 997 mules,they must change also the rear bumper(strange IMHO)
    So,the best thing (specially for us with the turbo),is that Porsche make the led tail lights also with the shape of the current one,in way to can update also our cars(Turbo,Turbo Cabrio,GT2)to the last one..

    time will tell...

    Looks like the GT2 is going to get quad exhausts! At least, I think that is why they put the mesh besides the visible exhausts... to hide the other exhaust tips... :D:D:D

    I agree. There is still some black tape hiding something back there. (Besides the tips that do show through are crooked!) Quad tips?? Rear diffuser??

    I was at my dealer a couple weeks ago and he could not really tell me much about the 997 GT2 (availability, price, options...). I told him to move me "down a liitle bit" on the 997TT waitlist......

    That's good news I am an okay driver but the old GT2 was a beast to drive, one mistake and $200,000 gone out of your pocket. The old GT2 was not a tamed animal around the city at all.

    GT Purely Porsche says that the only new Porsches on display in Paris will be Targa 4/4S, Boxster S with revised engine and Cayman.

    I believe Porsche is in a very big dilemma..
    If lets say it has ready the PDK gearbox and place it on the GT2, I believe that noone is going to buy anymore for psychological reasons 997tt. (Also cant place it SO SOON in 997tt as well)..
    The problem though is that most of its customers (Who will decide not to buy the new 997tt) are not going to buy 997 GT2 either, as they wont have the driving skills or they may want a more everyday car. So they will definetely buy as a first choice Gallardo cars (I believe Gallardo is the step between Porsche and Ferrari) or as second option F430s..
    On the other hand if lets say is not ready to place on 997 GT2 the PDK gearbox, it wont sell many cars.. As GT2 is a special car for enthusiast drivers who know exactly what is going on with the new technology...

    P has to bring the PDK across the line for MY08, including the GT2.
