    Would be fun to see the plates that are rejected by various DMVs because of obscenity or other offensive problems.

    I like personalized plates if they are witty or have a decent meaning. The worst plates by far are the plates that state the obvious, where you say "no shiiit!", like if someone has an SL 600, and their plate says SL 600. Or a Cayenne has a plate that says Cayenne....etc.

    Yes, the DMV here approved GIGGITY (for you Family Guy fans) but I believe it rejected my second choice of GAGONIT. No, it's not obscene, it's French. Or is it?

    Years ago I was coming back from a Porsche club autocross and was heading up the freeway. There was a little Honda car out there with the plate: "MAXMPG." I wished my plate said "MAXFUN."

    This thread illustrates perfectly why attempts at "clever" vanity plates are gag-reflex-corny and/or horribly un-clever puberty flashbacks 99.9% of the time...

    You've proven my point to a nauseating extent I'm afraid..

    MUF DVR?? C'mon throt, you really wouldn't giggle at that lame old expression rolling down the road, would you? Is there an 11-year-old under that expansive and glorious 'fro??? The only conclusion you could draw from somebody making a sexual insinuation on their license tag, is that they likely haven't been laid in years.... at least not without having to pay for it...

    Surely the only good personalized number plates are the ones that have no meaning what so ever and simply mimic what could have been a perfectly normal plate such as "S724BKW". Noone will suspect you paid a lot of money for it. Only you will know. Just like wearing expensive underwear. Classy.

    Yeah, IMO, just stick the standard issue plate on the car and forget about it. No matter what you do the plates are an ugly and distracting POS attached to your beautiful car. You can even inadvertantly make the "personalized" plate cause MORE interference with the appreciation of your car.

    ..and what about the guy who thinking he would be clever, selected "NO TAG" as his personalized plate. He wound up getting EVERY parking ticket for cars out there that didn't have a plate on them and were parked illegally! Did THAT take some sorting out!
