    Our F430 Spider Pics

My dad picked up his F430 Spider about a week ago. Although I haven't driven it all that much (about 100 miles), it is way more fun then my 996tt. The sound is absolutely amazing, and there is no need for the radio. Here are a few pics, the rest can be seen at http://www.kdub.net/photos/index.php?gallery=./ferrari_f430 .

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

    Devastatingly beautiful.
Nice backdrop, btw. The photos appear to be professional?
Did you hire someone to take them?

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

I hope that's not your neighborhood in the background.. Just kidding.. Nice.. very very nice.

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

There were two photographers. One guy is somewhat more professional then the other, but they both do it as a hobby.

Ha, actually that is my garage and my bedroom. We had to sell the house to buy the f430 ... just kidding. The spot was actually one of the photographers choice. He shoots there quite often.

    I'd say corsa.

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

    Rossi is right, its corsa.

Got the idea of the steering wheel from Nick. The dealership said it was the first one they have done.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments.

Awesome pics, thanks ! Corsa is amazing!!
That's exactly how I was doing the steering wheel (just like my CS) before I changed to the Carbon Fiber wheel. The red/w red stitch looks fantastic!

Which stitch is that STCH1 or STCH2 ? Looks like 1.

How can you not love the stock rear.

    Wow!!

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

very nice car and pictures too,,,

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

Looks MUCH better from the rear than from the front!

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

Absolutely fantastic car and great pictures!

BTW, I remember someone mentioning how the red tach was the "wrong" kind of red for a red Ferrari, is this noticeble / does it fit nicely?

I believe he has the Coupe, correct?

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

    beautiful car!!
    Congradulations to your father!!!
I perticularly like the last photo of the F430 and your Turbo!! very nice!!

    Re: Our F430 Spider Pics

Regarding the stitching, it is supposed to be the "special" stitching, and not the standard color stitching.

Regarding the red tach, I think in this case the yellow tach would have felt out of place with the red stitching and the red steering wheel. I really like the way the red tach looks, and I have not had any problems with reading it. I can understand where the red blends in with the redline of the car. But if you know that redline is at 8500rpm, I think the big 8 stands out enough to know where you are in the range.

The turbo belongs to a friend of mine, going to try and get my friend to shoot my turbo in the next week or so.

The red is a little bit darker red , but it looks good in person. Although I prefer the yellow one.

Same here no question about it. The red is nice too but the yellow is classic. Much cooler looking too day & especially night. Here's mine.

STCH1 or STCH2 doesn't refer to the color. It is the size (thickness of the thread) and spacing of the stitch. But they do refer to STCH2 as "special stitching" on the option list so maybe that's what it is. It would say on the window sticker which one your dad has. The STCH1 stitch is tighter, from the pics it appears like he's got STCH1 (that's the one I prefer)

ps: Awesome car, would love to see even more pics when you can.

Sorry STRADALE, what I meant was it is the special color stitching (STCH2), and not the standard colored stitching (STCH1). So it is the STCH2 stitching.

I'll try to get some pics of it with my 996tt in the next couple weeks.
