    2008 997 Interior

    I wish it was something like this but its not.

    This is from the new 08 Infiniti coupe.

    If the tach was mounted in the center of the insturments with the others flanking it, it would make for a very nice modernized 911 cockpit.

    I can't agree with you. It has all the finesse of an injection moulded food container. It feels very hygienic

    (IMO of course)

    If Porsche only did one thing for 2008, I wish they would clean up and simplify the PCM. If you don't drive the car every day it is very frustrating to have to reference the PCM manual every time you want to change anything.

    looks better than porsche current interior!
    even the steering wheel is unattractive.

    I love the 997 interior and layout all the controls are great, but the pcm shoud be more feature rich and touch screen.

    Are you kidding? it looks like some cheap, Japanese, plastic interior... oh, it is If my Porsche looked like this, I'd buy a Chevy.

    Lotsa cheap fake " aluminum-look " painted plastic in Porsches, last I looked. OTOH, the aluminum -look in many Infiniti interiors( though not to my liking design -wise ) like the FX is actually real brushed aluminum.

    If this interior makes it into production it should look outdated pretty fast...
