Guys, let's all calm down a little bit. To me it's just logical that the emotions are rising high.
I mean let's face it, the Modena successor is so eagerly awaited and Ferrari is under enormous pressure. First because of strong competition and second because of their own faults, by saying the successor will come in 2004, then in 2005, sometimes not at all in the next two years, it will be a facelift, oh no, it will be a brand new car and all that bla bla bla. That really sucks.
So everybody with a little petrol in his veins is just absolutely keen on ANY reliable news about the new V8-Ferrari, that has to be damn good to fight back cars like the Gallardo, 997 etc.
Of course if someone says he has the picture of a totally undisguised model, everyone wants to see it.
I for myself really would appreciate, if RC shows us the picture (perhaps next week or so
), but I respect if he doesn't, because he made a promise to his source. It's better to do without the picture at the moment (and it will show up soon, I'm sure), than to have a look at it now and have no early and exclusive information about the F-cars in the future.
But what I have to say is, that RC really should TELL us more about what he has seen on the pic and not to wait until someone asks him. It's always difficult to ask, if you have no clue what you're talking about.
And hey RC, letting us know that that the 420 will be a mixture of the Enzo and a 360 and nothing else is really BARE, a car like the Modena successor should be worth more than one single sentence.
But if you still insist on questions, well man, here they are:
- what has happened to the double air intake at the front?
- has it a more classical grille like older Ferraris?
- has it a Formula 1 style nose like the Enzo?
- is the front lower than at the current 360?
- how does the sideline look like?
- could you compare it to the Gallardo?
- are the air inlets at the sides bigger than those of the 360?
- do these air inlets look more like those of the Enzo or perhaps the 355?
- has the design anything in common with the new 612?
- does it still have the "hatchback" design of the 360?
- is its design more aggressive does everything fit together well?
I don't ask about the rear, as you have no pic of it.
Enough? I would have some more.
Well RC, here are the questions, now I expect your promised explicit answers
("I can describe the car as it is on the picture but most people didn't even bother to ask about design details.") And one last word: you must be joking, when you say
"I was even thinking of drawing the car from the picture and post the drawing but I'm not very talented." How about letting someone other do the "work" for you?
all the best
