    Does anyone know the make & model of the navigation system in the 997?

    The navigation disc is " NAVTEQ ON BOARD "

    Do you guys have any ideas how to find certain stores like "Target" or "Macy's" on our navigation system? I can't seem to find them listed under any of the POI listings? Can we just do a search by name instead of navigating throught POI? Thanks.

    I was wondering the same thing on my Honda I was able to search by name but on the Pcar I cant seem to figure it out???

    In a Porsche you would never go to Target or Macy's. You can go to Zegna or Nieman-Marcus.

    For me, more importantly how long should it realistically take to get the NAV unit? I added it to my C2 purchase, along with sport shifter. The sport shifter arrived about a week later yet I am still waiting (over 3 weeks now) on the NAV unit. The parts counter employee could not give me an ETA.

    I have been waiting about 3 weeks as well. I was told another 10 days or so.

    The fibre cable appears to be the delay. I was hoping to integrate this with Sirius Traffic alerts, but I dont think that will work as this isn't an Alpine system.

    Hhahahah... after spending all the money on the car.. I can only go to Target now

    By the way, even Zegna or Neiman-Marcus won't show up under the POI for shopping

    LOL. Would be fun to edit the POI listings in accordance with the principles of "excellence."

    Like you say (LOL) ONLY locations like the charming places visted and retail locations for products advertised in Christophorus would be included in the system.
