It is a very complex piece of machinery. I know you had it in before and they disassembled and removed the entire dash board. I believe they had for a couple weeks. Thankfully you have other toys to play with.

Exactly, I bet it's still a much more sorted car.

Things are good..really good..we had a baby girl last December too. :)

Jason, congrats Smiley How's the cars, still got the stunning TT?

Thanks man! The TT is doing great! Need to get it serviced...just drove the Macca up to see Whoopsy's 918 at the snow....it looked good but the lighting at the show was horrible. I did see a few nice beauties up there. The show up there is SOOOOO much better than our show down here. :(

He's unfortunately right...there were a couple of P1's at the shop all torn apart when I was there. One had the entire rear end unassembled just for one small part that had to be exchanged in the rear subframe. All I can say to that is....once the warranty goes...OUCH!

That also applies for the 918 too! :)

    Absolutely.

The shop foreman is one of the best among the world in taking apart and putting the car back together, he did it many many times on my car already lol.

Hell, he helped rewrite Porsche's own shop instructions on the 918.

I think I saw his gt3 Es on eBay. A bit overpriced. He is no Hamilton.

Re: 918 latest news Thread Closed

I love a black Ferrari. Interesting to see a 918 with aftermarket wheels.

Re: 918 latest news Thread Closed

I'm not sure whose the 918 was, but Indy isn't too far from where it was (Fort Wayne), so that wouldn't be too surprising.  And I love the LaFerrari in black; it looks like a proper stealth car.

No doubt black does make it stealth to the point it is almost unrecognizable as a La Ferrari. One hell of a way to spend 1.3m and people not know what it is.Smiley

Almost how I would spec one.

But I would do black seats with yellow piping and stitching.

The damn yellow shield forced my hand into doing yellow accents.

Nick, you could've solved that issue by getting carbon fiber shields instead. :)

Get carbon shields for those two too. I guess I have to think of everything. :)

You could always spec them with no shields.

Think of what that would do to resale value.

(do they still say that in the Ferrari dealership, that those are must?)

Re: 918 latest news Thread Closed

When I was buying Ferrari's you could opt not to have them. They were I believe $1700 option but don't recall the exact amount. However, if you should decide to want them later the best you could do are shields that are stickers.

I don't think our friend Whoopsy is too concerned about that Smiley - that's why I suggested it .

I didn't think that either but had to check if they still go for that nonsense, as if you would be buying the car for the second owner :)
