Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cutie

Alright I have decided to leave my 987s Convertible behind and take her with me for the next week to enjoy the rural scenaries of Hokkaido. All along, I could not stop missing my own Arctic Silver 987s and couldn't stop thinking about how much fun we would be having with my top down in Hokkaido. How I wish to take some pictures of my 987s in rural Hokkaido. The funniest thing is that I have not seen one Porsche in Hokkaido yet and the only Euro mobile I had seen was a VW Golf GTi. I did not reserve my car to be in Arctic Silver and wish the HONDA FIT could be in Yellow. Take a look at some of the places we visited. Enjoy!

Those who enjoy being close to nature should really appreciate the scenic side of Hokkaido. I wish I could be with my 987s and that would make it even better.

Re: Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cutie

PTCJA - you should visit Tokyo - toooo many Porsches here!

Re: Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cutie

Yes I should but in the farmlands there just aren't that many mobiles from Europe.

Re: Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cutie

Does anyone know how it feels to go on driving trips with Porsches on the Autobahn in Germany?

Re: Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cutie

Happy motoring! I guess this would make you appreciate your Boxster even more!

Re: Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cutie

Only word to say, "FAST", everytime I'm their is my customer drive me and with a regular Ford they drive 180km/h easily and car keep pass on us.

Re: Temporarily left my Porsche behind --> Driving This Cuti

How do you like the Fit? I'm thinking about buying it for a second car.

I did the Euro Del deal this time on my car (I did it once a long time ago as well). There's nothing quite like going 285 kph on the autobahn once you feel she's broken in enough...

I certainly know how it feels but it's hard to put the emotions in words - once you're able to use a Porsche on an empty stretch on the Autobahn in exactly the manner they are built for you feel like becoming a part of your car The sound of the engine, the trees (and other cars ) rushing by, the lane becoming narrower, full concentration on just driving your P, anticipating the next high speed corner.....it's the most relaxing thing I can think of (relaxing sounds strange, but to me actually it is relaxing, because I can forget everything else in these moments - even my passenger )
And of course the planted and rock solid feeling of the P is very much confidence inspiring. You definitely can sense how the car is "working", it's not that odd feeling like driving one of these big engined limos (S-class, 7-series, A8) at high speed (feels just like sitting on a super fast sofa )

Honda Fit (Maybe same as Jazz) was wonderful to be honest. It was a small nimble car but at 6"2 I still feel that it was spacious enough. No BS type of car pretty utilitarian borderline cute but definitely a good run around and trash around car. Acceleration is a bit of a problem but took her consistently > 160 km/h no problem except a bit of winddrag (you feel that at high speed, the car just isn't that stable so I was worried a bit with my gf in the car as she said she could feel the car rocking).

You will be amazed at the fuel economy of the car though... the interior is cloth and nothing fancy, an auto tranny air cond very easy to use. In fact, I quite like it to be honest... it's not a Porsche but it is very very adequate and very very well done for its price range. Good pick I'd take one of those! Get it in Yellow or Red one of those fun colours would be nice... I'd take it over a cooper for sure.
