Carrera Sport Wheel

Does the carrera sport wheel come in different colors? The set that is on my C2S that I have just purchased appear to be a darker silver/light grey color versus a bright silver that I have just seen on a car that is on our local Porsche dealers lot. I have not been able to find any mention to different colors of wheels on any of the web sites that I have gone on except for the black color option that I saw on the Edmunds site. Any help would be appreciated!

I recall that they come standard painted GT silver. I think that you can specify a different paint color as an option at added expense.

I've only seen these wheels on basalt cars (one a 987S, the other a 997S Cabrio) - one had GT Silver...

and the other a darker grey, more like Atlas grey and not body colour.

These are what mine look like. Are these the std. color sport wheels? I think they look lighter in color than the pic above (but, it could be the lighting).

These are mine on my Seal C4S. The spokes are significantly darker than the rims.

XRR's come standard in GT Silver with polished alloy outer rims which is standard. My understanding is that the option to GT Silver is body colour, but suppose any colour is possible.

My C2S is GT silver and in certain situations e.g. underground carparks with overhead fluro lighting, the spokes almost look seal grey compared to the body; partly the nature of GT Silver which is a much more complex metallic than Arctic, subject to lighting, plus the fact that much of the spoke is in shadow

spindar has a good point-- the GT silver has wider variability of dark/light metallic appearance depending on lighting-- than an Arctic silver for instance.

You can order XRR painted-to-match exterior color, in U.S. it's $1,290. No matter what paint, the XRR's outer rim is always polished aluminum. Here's a set of optional paint- to-match Slate grey XRR:
