Homelink garage door opener
This may have been posted previously, but i just figured this out and since its not in the manual I thought this may be helpful. With the homelink garage door systems a random code is generated with each opening of the door. The steps in the manual do not complete the process of letting your homelink system open the door. to complete the process:
1. hold the red button (starter/learner) button on the back of the motor unit for 2 seconds then release, you have ~5minutes to complete no.2
2. Hold your homelink button inside your car for 2 seconds, repeat for 2 seconds
this worked (thanks to the Mercedes GL Car manual).
