The image looks like a photo shopped version of the VW eco roadster.
But you cant expect Audi to release pics too far from its debut.
Since there is some VW /Audi synergy on this car, Maybe there will be some weight loss technology from it applied to the next generation Boxster.

In continental Europe this is an Opel. In the UK this is a Vauxhal.
The base is a lotus Elise , built by Lotus for GM with a different engine and different shape
