    New porsche Supercar?

    So, I was browsing the internet to see what patents and inventions porsche had claimed over the last time.
    A lot of interesting things came up. I'll post a couple of pics. These are screenshots of claims all made last 2 months The cars sketched have similarities to the CGT and the 98 GT1, but there are differences... I couldn't find out whether it was for a racecar or a streetcar, but it looks promising!

    Maybe, but that it a tuner called patritti. These claims were made by PORSCHE... also, the description that went with the pic of the front bonnet implied that it was some new sort of a venturi or so.

    See the last issue of Autoweek:

    Look out, Chevrolet and Aston Martin: AutoWeek's Stuttgart sources say Porsche is plotting a return to the GT1 sports car ranks with a new mid-engined race car. Those sources also claim that the company plans to build a limited number of road-going versions of the two-seater, revealed here in internal drawings leaked from Porsche's Weissach R&D center. The program is headed by the Porsche motorsport department, the same team responsible for the recently introduced 997 GT3.

    The new, as yet unnamed model boasts design elements from the discontinued Carrera GT. Engine plans remain under wraps, but the car will likely use an improved version of the Carrera GT's high-revving, 5.8-liter V10, mated to a new double-clutch gearbox.

    Interesting find. Looking at the rough sketch at the top of pic. 2, could that be a flat 10? Hmm.

    jeez, yeah, that obviously had more thruth in it than we thought... Maybe they found the same pics on the web... long live espacenet!

    It would be highly ufair if they let that car race in gt1 category unhindered, when Mc12 came out aco baned it, imsa put smaler rear wings then the rest, and penalty weight and smaller restrictors the corvette and the aston
