    How long to get one?

I want to avoid calling my sales guy until later.

Can you guys tell me approximately how long the wait will be for a TT car here in the US?

    10 Q

Re: How long to get one?

I am selling my GT Silver on black 997TT with 625 miles for the MSRP of $150,990. Obviously, as you can tell by the MSRP, it's pretty loaded with a lot of CF, PCCBs and much, much more. California Registration is paid and I can even get my dealer to do the transaction if you want extended warranty, financing, etc...

    Here is the options list:

    GT Silver- $2380
    adaptive seats -$1145
    Axle-Diff Lock- $950
    Heated Seats-$480
    PCCBs- $8840
    Sport Chrono Package- $1840
    CD Changer- $650
    CF Pkg switch panel- $2700
    CF rear console- $1625
    CF multifinction steering wheel- $620
    CF Pkg (shifter/handbrake)- $890
    CF Door Finisher- $2700
Speed Yellow Seat Belts - $540
    Porsche Crest in Headrest- $270
    Sport Shifter-$765
    Painted Rocker panels- $750

    Anyone interested, please PM me.

Why are you selling your car?

Or should I say why did you bought one in the first place?

Re: How long to get one?

I just had a dealer tell me December ('07).

Re: How long to get one?

    599GTB!!!!

Re: How long to get one?

Do you find the tt under powered , why so quickly with the sale ..

    throt....

Re: How long to get one?

Actually it has plenty of power. It's a great car but with my current stable it's just a little too soft and has a bit too much turbo lag for my taste.

So yes ,, it sure makes sense to sell now before a residual hit..

Shame about the (muched talked about) lag..

    All the best then..

Re: How long to get one?

Is that so? you can always give me your money, I'm sure I'll find something to do with it.

    That didn't take long

As I suspected, while a car with great performace, the new Turbo is short on personality and the intangibles. My car just finished production so I'm a month out from delivery. I may end up doing the same thing if my initial impressions of the car are confirmed. On the other hand, don't ask me to part with my 97 993 Turbo S, talk about a car with personality....

    Re: That didn't take long

LoL all i want is a bloody turbo and NO ONE will sell me one, it really is annouying, maybe i should buy.........ive been sitting here for 5mins thinking of somthing to buy Other then a turbo and Nothing is coming to mind.....lol maybe i should give it to amazon hehe

    Re: That didn't take long

James, you mean the UK dealers are all sold out of TT's for two years. I find that difficult to believe !

    Re: That didn't take long

My dealer is also quoting 2 yr wait.

    Re: That didn't take long

Yep i litteraly can not even Order one, ive asked RC wheather his dealer in germany will sell me a UK spec car, i cant see what else to do

Just be like me James oll chap , wait wait and wait..

Patience is key baby , was going to order in Jan 07 but should I wait for the MY08 because of the small make overs ? , and ""yes"" of course you can go on forever.....

    Jmo though....

    throt....

You're gonna have to be patient that's all.

The car has been on sale for just a month now. It's no surprise that it would take time to get one as everyone rushed in to order it.

You could look in the second hand market as I'm sure some will sell the 997TT pretty fast.

    Re: That didn't take long

Yeh im not To much fussed about what it is, i want tip PCCb and SC, as long as its not to in ya face on the inside just leather or somthing i dont mind,

    Re: That didn't take long

Call me CrAzy but it might be a good idea to think about giving your dealers an order for the turbo successor, now. Early bird gets the worm. Sqqqqqqqwwwwaaaaakk!!
