I don't care one bit. There always have been and there always will be evoution of the 911 models. Adding 200cc is not a revolution. Probably similar horsepower gain as from 996 GT3 to the 997. If that was going to bother me I would never be able to buy a Porsche. Because there would always be a faster one in the future... Every model has its charm. The 996 GT3 is the last one without PASM and Traction Control. Maybe the 997 GT3 is the last one under 1,400kg. Buy the car you want now!
i don't care whether the mkII will be a 3.8L or not. For me personally, i think the the power offered by the 3.6l engine is more than sufficient. The possibility of the extra low end torque given by the 200cc larger engine displacement will not bother my decision on order the GT3 now.
