    Guess who I saw driving the new 997TT...Roger Penske!

    Out and driving about yesterday on my B-D last night and an artic silver 997TT pulls up behind me. It was being driven by none other than Roger Penske! I know that he happens to live but a few miles away from the point I saw him. BTW for those wondering, it was a tip..

    I think he owns the dealer in Va.

    He owns all united auto car lots. These include everything Porsche, Lexus, BMW, Ferrari, VW, Jaguar, Volvo and many more. If your billing sheet say United Auto, he owns your dealership.

    He picked it up at Tyson's Porsche in Northern Virginia. I saw the car before it was delivered to him. I know this because I ordered mine from the same dealer and saw mine today (pick up Tuesday or Wendesday)! Yes it is silver, but I believe it was a six speed. The former owner of the dealer got his today and its red and a tip.

    penske corp. owns united auto group and penske automotive group which includes about 254 dealerships.
    nine of them porsche dealerships.
    my father knows penske from business and bought his first 911 from roger back in 1977.
    so he's been in the porsche business a long time.
