    My car is in the shop right now, Scanners, for a DME-related issue (actually fuel-related, but they're trying a new fuel map to fix...).

    Any idea what the update # is?

    I had it done to a 1984 Volvo and it didn't seem to make a difference at all.

    The latest Motronic update is...

    ...version 14.1. I had it d/l'ed to the car yesterday at Napleton Porsche in Westmont, IL. It apparently updates the fuel mapping. Worked wonders for my C4S (which had "check engine" problems related to high MMT content American "summer" fuel).

    My son noticed the difference as soon as he got into the car. Smart kid! <g>

    Check it out...

    Binary is too hard ... please use hex.
