Question for NY-NJ owners

For those of you in the NY Metro area, any positive/negative comments regarding service at Jack Daniels Porsche in Fairlawn, New Jersey?

I have heard alot of complaints about their audi dealership, don't know about the porsche

I bought a 99 Audi there and hated the service - very patronizing and non-flexible. At the time I had to arrange a loaner through the salesman, not the service department. This meant you had to coordinate two schedules, and if the car stayed overnight, listen to the salesman whining about how he couldn't get home. I didn't even consider them for my new Porsche. Ordered that at Town in Englewood. Service there has been very good so far, even for my Boxster purchased at Prestige.

I have used Paul Miller on Rt. 46. They seemed to be pretty good over all. They did give me a non-P loaner when i had to leave it over-night...b/c to i didnt buy my car there....as the reason. Which i whought was kinda cheesy for when you are deaing with a car in this price range. Got an Impala....ok but not a P by any means. What's the experience out there with getting loaners from dealers that didnt sell you the car?

I purchased my porsche at Paul Miller their service technicians are top rate. They also gave me a non P loaner and I have bought two Porsches at their dealership. Their service department is better than their sales department. Ray Catena has a very good sales department, but a poor service department.

I bought the car from them. I would say their service is so-so. I think they charged me $260 for an oil change.

As far as pricing on service goes...Paul miller seems to put out a lot of coupons for like 10% off various stuff. If you get on the mailing list they will send them to you in the mail or you can find them in the waiting room. I saw $99 for boxster oil change ("slightly more for 997"), $99 brake flush...not too bad. But you gotta look for it. I dont know if other dealers do that. Do they?
