Love your rides!! I have a Red 993C2 (daily drive) and a Red 997 Turbo on order (Oct build date). The Champion wheels look great. How much extra are they? BTW test drove tiptronic today and was very impressed (What I've ordered), I had driven the 6 speed a couple weeks ago and equally impressed...both are great.
The wheels look great. I actually prefer the oem ones. Maybe I'd be convinced otherwise if I saw them in person. If I were to go aftermarket, Champion would be my first or second choice. Congrats on the great ride(s)
The wheels make the car look so much better , a small price to give the car a much better look !
Also love the look of the color-matched rockers ... when a person color matches the rocker I think they should do the front lip also and then just cover it with the 3m stuff.
I actually don't like these wheels but rims are always a matter of personal taste and preferences. What bothers me more than the rim design is actually the tire used with these rims. Looks like a Conti to me and even worse: without N-classification. Maybe you could shed some light into it? Do these rims have the same size/offset like the OEM rims?
The rim size/tire choice is crucial to the 997 Turbo, not only because of the rear engine design (which of course has a different weight distribution compared to other cars and can't use the same tires) but also because of the new electronically controlled viscous coupling.
