Re: THE CLS: OFFICAL PICS, FIRST.........

    IT'S NOT A SEDAN, ITS A COUPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    J/K (It's a bit of both )

Yes, this slots right in between the E and S class's.

So would this just be a less expensive "Mybach"?

Re: THE CLS: OFFICAL PICS, FIRST.........

No, this would not be an expensive Maybach.

I do see some of the comparsions that might be running through your'e head, four individual seats, and the fact that it's made by MB. Heck, your'e probably wondering why this car is even here?

While many will say that it's nothing more than a glorified E-class, this car is unique, just by being what it is, and people are going to buy it, believe it or not. I look at this as a crossover, not a coupe or sedan, but a cross between the two. It has coupe like styling, coupe interior proportions, and sedan practicality. To be honest the four doors on this car is where the term sedan ends. A BMW 6 series has a pretty big trunk for a coupe, oops I mean sedan? Anyway, I also think that this fills the gap in nicely between the E and the S, as gives potential customers a choice between the CLK and CL. A CLK may be too small, a CL might be too big. So this car is actually quite appropriate. I like it, wait, no I don't!........................................................................... I LUVVV IT!!!!!!!!

I said "inexpensive" Maybach...as in similar, but cheaper than $350k

Re: THE CLS: OFFICAL PICS, FIRST.........

Ok, I'll be the odd ball, but I think its proportions are wrong and looks odd. I think its the four doors squashed in a coupe's shape, if it had two doors it would have more armony. Maybe it just takes getting used to but I think its a bit ugly.

Re: THE CLS: OFFICAL PICS, FIRST.........

I hate this damn car from the front, even AMG won't make it pretty.

If I wanted luxury, i'd buy the S class, if I wanted a hint of sportiness, and practical daily driver with a machine gun, I'd buy the E55, but mostly likely the SL55 since it sounds better.

But a baby Maybach! No way!

    Ugly?..are you kidding?
If it was only a 2 door it would be ugly.
Look at the profile, it's effing gorgeous. Look at the cut on the profile. There is nothing out there nicer. I'd prefer a little more style with the rear lights, but the profile is gorgeous.

It just goes to show how different people tastes' are, the rear is the best part IMO

Re: THE CLS: OFFICAL PICS, FIRST.........

It looks beautiful to me. Very.
One tiny issue seems to be the slightly more "weight" at the back (i'm talking about the design). It looks a bit out of balance, with the back bulkier/heavier than the front
