    Cobalt Blue.....

    Has anyone seen a Cobalt Blue 997TT in person???? Does anyone have an opinion on the color. Are there any pics out there of it (other than the factory ones)????

    Great color, I have ordered 997TT Cobalt Blue with natural Brn
    leather. Still not sure about leather..........

    I've only seen the pics that have been posted on this board, but based upon those I changed my order to cobalt. I've seen a 911s in cobalt, and it looked terrific. Plus I haven't seen many cobalt P cars so I think it would be nice to have something a little different . . .

    I am test driving a cobalt blue one in about 3 hours.I posted pictures up here or on 6 speed online of 2 cobalt blue cars they had at the turbo presentation evening..search for posts under my nickname on both sites.
    Stunning colour..but too loud for me personally..i prefer a more discrete colour..but it is a superb colour.

    I have seen a cobalt blue I think it is the one frankie will be test driving later today (stratstones) it does look fantastic in that colour but I liked the artic silver one they had there

    Although NBL is great (I had it and loved it), personally I think that the sand beige is a better match with cobalt.

    My local OPC has a Cobalt demonstrator, looks excellent.

    I had a 996TT in Cobalt and it was gorgeous. I'm keeping my eye out for a 997TT in Cobalt. Now that it is a standard color and not match to sample I think we'll see a lot more Turbos in Cobalt!

    No, Cobalt is now a standard no charge color. I'd say the dealer is wrong, call PCNA in Atlanta to know for sure.

    It seems to be a matter of debate; the order guide and the online system say N/C, but there has been at least one person reporting in the forums that even though the window sticker said N/C the $2380 was in fact in the final price (the itemized options didn't equal the total.)

    i bought a cobalt, im from brazil... my dealer dont told me nothing about extra cost. i payed the normal price.(normal here US 360.000 )

    TT costs around $ 280,000 basic price in Taiwan ..it just launch last saturday . u know why ... coz the tax is too high..take look the pic here. i took it in showroom the red..997tt grin:

    My salesperson still stands by the fact that Cobalt blue is not a standard color. Apparently Porsche got Lapis vs Cobalt blue mixed up. Lapis is a standard no charge color but Cobalt is a charge color. I would love to receive an official answer on this matter from the top because I have Cobalt blue on order.

    Cobalt is standard no cost option in the UK if that helps.

    My dealer has told me that lapis and cobalt have exchanged status for 07 model year i.e. cobalt is a "standard" metallic colour and lapis is now a special. This is for Boxster range but I am sure it will be the same for 997's.

    But at the price of a 997 turbo, or any other Porsche for that matter, if the colour you want is a standard or special, does it matter - it is after all a fraction of the car's cost.

    Ok, I called PCNA in Atlanta....... What a joke, they told me every dealer has its own MSRP!!!!!!! Duh. So I asked for the presidents office and his sec connected me to someone who was not in his office but would call me back...........STILL waiting.I will keep trying.
