    Black Wheels

    This car looks so good to me with any wheels other than the factory ... will be nice to see more TT's with different wheels .. anyone have anymore shots with different wheels now were talking how about those wheels on a black car wish there was a side shot are those TechArt 20"s Gives the car a while other look much more aggressive .

    need a side view.i do believe black will be the way i go eventually. too much airspace in the oem wheels for me

    I am thinking triple black 997TTS cab with those 20" blacked out wheels top down with the piano black exclusive accents lowered with PCCB's painted black with the CGT/Gt3 seats .... with the successor to the 430 on order for the weekend car .

    Sure would look bad ass. If it were my weekend only car I'd consider another black Porsche. And on a cabriolet I really like the way the contrast works w/ the Silver exterior and black top and interior. But if were black/black w/ black Formula's, maybe keep the PCCB's yellow and get yellow stitching throughout the interior w/ black mats w/ yellow leather piping. That would be crazy. Hmmmmmmmmmm?? Maybe I should...Nah STOP! lol What's the deal w/ colored stitching on the 997 anyway, are they allowing it? IMO the only ways it looks good on a Porsche is silver stitch on a balck interior on a silver car and yellow stitch on a black&black car. The red stitch only looks good on Ferrari's.

    I know this has been covered in prior posts, but my search did not turn up a clear answer. Can the OEM wheels be painted all black (or all exterior color for that matter)? Not just the darker sides of the rims, but the entire rim?

    black wheels look killer..I love black wheels myself and would be the only way to go in most sports cars...

    this one looks awesome..I would love to see these wheels on a yellow Turbo

    Your feeling is shared by many . The wheels are a non event The wheels can make the car so Porsche really dropped the ball here . If you are going to spend 150K for a car the wheels should be bad-ass so changing them I think for many will be first on the list .

    I wish there were more shots around of 997TT with different wheels and lowered , I guess it will take a little time but if anyone has any please post them here .

    I really wonder how the standard wheel would look with a light grey painted finish instead of the med/dk grey. I think the wheel would POP nicely?

    Anyone with some pshop skills could help out?

    That is the first pic in which a black 997 turbo really shows it's beauty! Most pics of black cars show too little contrast, this pic is awesome!
