I have to say that I agree with that statement.
who cares who said it in that particular article, it seems to be the general consensus. Each time I read an article, that's exactly what it says. That said, I can understand why one would go for the tip. I just hope it's not just for the stupid 0.2 sec.

If you've got a problem with the standard you can follow it up with the ISO (International Organisation for Standardization). You'll find their web site thru Wikipedia or Google, for instance.
