OMFG! You guys are amazing!
Thank you so much for your input!
Now I'm even more confused
Jeck: Thanks a buch for your input! And yes, it is both a helluvalot of fun and frustrating at the same time!
Ur ride looks stunning, especially with those painted seat shells! I think my probleem is that I have seen SO many Boxeys in here that are grey in some form...and even tho a P is a rare sight in Denmark, I want something different than the "usual" colors.
Trouble is I like the classic P colors and know that a conservative color is easier to resell. And on the other hand I wanna buy a car that YOURS TRULY finds cool, rather than considering resale already.
I'm leaning towards:
1) Yellow with silver/chrome mirrors, intakes and rims, and black leather
2) Guards red/indish rot with tan or black interior, chrome trim
3) Basalt or Atlas with tan leather or grey leather
And I want either the original 19" Carrera rims or a set of Speedart 19-20" chromes. They look amazing...and blingbling
Matt the car nut: Great color for that 986 of yours!
, and I like the cobalt blue. However I wouldnt pick it for my new car
WAY: Thanks. Meteor grey...u have a pic of that which shows the color in a realistic way?
Paralizer: Atlas is stunning. I am considering that seriously. However I am afraid that it will disguise the lines of the car and make an already small/low car look even smaller...or am I mistaken? (Im not judging by ur pics, since I know that the car looks diff in real life).
Eslai: Yup, cocoa is very nice...I just need the right exterior color for it.
Ptcja: I hear you, and you are very right. I just cant see myself in another silver car right now. My second car is also silver, and even my girlie begs me to get another color! LOL!
Black with terracotta could work. I found one on mobile.de. Check it out at the bottom of this post.
TEMM: Black and seal are cool as hell...or should I say KEMPEFINT!
Like I said: Black is cool, classy and beautiful but a nightmare to keep clean and the lines of the car are hard to spot. The jury is still out on this one.
Thx for the images!!!
GR: Green can be awesome. To me its a Jaguar color. Not a P color.
Ente: Carmon red; Never saw one IRL..so I cant comment on that. If you have a better picture (looks a bit low res) I will definately consider it, as red is among my favs.
Amir Sarmad: White interior or exterior is probably cool for a sunny place....however I live in rainy, windy and chilly Denmark!!! ARGH!
Andy-e: Yup, seal works...but trouble is there are SO many grey cars out there. Not just P's but in general. But I must say the Boxey looks cool in seal...Oh, what to do, what to do :?
Tincanman99: OK, dude....I think you just sold me a yellow Boxey!
That car is so friggin awesome and the lines on it simply amazing....my only reservation is the grime/dirt issue and the fact that it may look like a plasticky toy car IRL. But, dang! Yellow is absolutely among my top 3 choices...if not THE top choice right now. Thanks for the pic! U have a larger one?
Anyone have picture of a DIRTY yellow Boxey?
Wanna see how crappy it looks after 3-4 days on the road.
01Box06Z06 and JZ: U guys have a pic of that olive thingy?
JZ: Basalt rocks! But my reservation is still the detaling thing and lack of clear lines.
ZZboba: Thx for ur input! Carmon could work...but I need a real life pic. Got one?
Percymon: Good point on the tinge of the diff grey variations. Thx
Hard to see the shine/tint/color etc on these shots....I prolly need to find a dealer with a huge palette of diff colored cars.
Dr. J: Check this pic:
