    A CGT got sold last week in Switzerland for roughly CHF 750'000 (USD 600'000). I've been told went to Marseille/France.
    And there's now already another one for sale here (CHF 790'000 = USD 630'000).

    Why are people paying this much for the car when they can order one for the MSRP from Porsche considering they havn't sold all 1500 yet?

    They may not have sold all 1500 yet but if you order one today you'll likely be receiving it in 2006. Some people aren't that patient.
