    Thanks! Believe me, I just can't wait till I can collect my car! I have been planning my Europe tour. I have extended it by 1 more week and I have added some more places etc. I will of course post more details in early Sept when it's final.

    I don't know, it was done at Zuffenhausen, BUT since the seats were complicated to do, I reckon it won't be an easy job !!

    Just a little taste: I plan to visit the following places:

    Stuttgart (Mercedes Benz Museum, Porsche Museum & Factory Tour), Zurich & Lake Zurich, Lucerne & Lake Lucerne, Andermatt, St Gotthard Pass, Locarno & Lake Maggiore, Lugano & Lake Lugano, Varese & Lake Varese, Como & Lake Como, Milan, Lake Garda, Verona, Mantua, Bologna, Florence, Siena, Pisa, Viareggio, Portofino, Genoa, Monte Carlo, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, St Tropez, Geneva & Lake Geneva, Paris before crossing the English Channel from Calais to Dover and then home to London.

    It's about 2150 miles in total over 13 days so it's about 165 miles per day. Hopefully a nice leisurely pace to tour all those places.

    I'm still deciding which places to stay in overnight and which hotels to choose (especially somewhere where the car parking is safe!).

    BTW, can anyone guide me on the following issues:

    1) is it worth stopping in Vicenza and Padua on the way from Verona to Bologna or is my plan to go via Mantua instead better?

    2) Is there any other way South through Switzerland that anyone here can recommend instead?

    3) Other than Viareggio and Portofino, are there any other places worth stopping in on the coastal drive from Tuscany round to Monte Carlo?

    Very good choice as those painted pieces look a lot classier than the default grey plastic.
