    Whew! This is going to cost me a small fortune and here I thought that the options for the E60 M5 were expensive! The complete Carbon Fiber package costs over $11k! I was told that the CF package for the F430 costs even more. Mind boggling if you ask me. The package that I ordered just consists of the gear shifter, E-brake and a trim piece across the dashboard. Less is more, IMHO.

    I was under that impression too but from what I understand, they shut down for most of August. Mine is slated to be built at the very beginning of the month so I'm probably getting in under the proverbial wire.

    I'm late to the tt party. after looking for and not finding a 996tt i'd be happy with for awhile, i thought why not and started looking at dealer sites a month ago. all the cars were shown at the very end of dealer inventories and seemed to be silver or black, non starter colors for me. on literally my last check i found my car. i wouldn't have ordered it much different myself. best of all i'll have it the first week of july. oh yeah my local dealer said get on the list 2yr. wait

    Bear in mind that the standard seats are electric whereas the foc optional sports seats are manual adjustment so, if you want the Sports seats, you are better off specing the subsidised Adaptives as I have done.
