RC:Finally got to drive the new C63 AMG S Coupe today...oh boy...what a disappointment.
Great looks, interior looks nice too (not exactly my style but still...), quality also seems to be good and the car looks great with those larger fenders but the engine sucks. Turbo lag is annoying, even in the sportiest setup, serious traction issues (reminds me of my former GT500) and while the engine/exhaust sound isn't bad, it isn't even close to my former C63 AMG Coupe PP (previous model). Nice car for the money they're asking and I would definitely get this one over the M4 but still...not really my thing.
Same as always: you get what you pay for
BjoernB:try the new E63S
Actually, I will...but after Easter time, probably in May or June.
Not sure I will like it much more though but it certainly wouldn't have traction issues (I hope).
I am not interested in getting one but my sales guy is a customer and bugs me all the time to try these cars and it actually is fun to drive them...if I have spare time on my hand.

Did he already mention when you can try the GTR?

I don't know, I actually think the C63 is worth it's money (incl. those nice dealer offers ) but...

Of course - but a car that costs 3 times as much is just on a different plant
Actually, I think that the new GLC 63 S AMG is the most interesting product from AMG right now.
I expected a Macan with a V8 but a Mercedes? Very clever marketing! We are actually considering the GLC 63 as a future (small) family car. For probably half the money of a Cayenne Turbo, even better performance and all this in a "boring" Mercedes. Amazing.

4trac:Ah, and just after I write that - I see that this grille is now on a SUV, new GLC63.... they didn't keep it exclusive to the sports car long, did they?
I miss the exclusivity of that grill, too. And I even don't like the look of it on this car. Looks like a truck and not like a sports car like this!

Me too!
BjoernB:I love it ! I think it's the best SUV currently. (G-class excluded)
G-class is a terrible SUV - it is a poser SUV.
The steering is like an old Yugoslavian military truck from 1970. The knee space at the rear banch is minimal. Driving faster then 150 km/h is far from comfort. Getting in and out is hard, for women really hard.
The sound is loud and that is the next problem - when driving in Germany you get a lot of thumbs up but from who. I couldn't identify with a G-class.

Maybe you can help them?
