    Red TT with Lower Panels Painted

    See red TT with side door panels in body color. I took this on our Opus 911 tour last week in Austria. I like the look.

    yes it looks great ,makes the car look lower and more aggressive.

    painting the front and rear valences completes the look.

    I would't get the side skirt painted option unless I was going to paint both front and rear plastic bits, otherwise it looks strange imo.

    The black is what looks cheap...

    Painted is definitely better. (or get a black car)

    another vote for painted all the way around , why do the sides and not the rest of the car what is with the silver steering wheel ?

    I like it. But I'd leave the front bumper unpaint. Like the GT3. On thee other hand, I'd paint the rear bumper too, just to see the 3rd hole of the grill. (if you know what I mean...)

    I think it looks okay w/ just the skirts painted and not the front and back. Looks a little beter than stock anyway. On a black car wouldn't be worth it and no matter what would have to cover it w/ 3M body armour otherwise they'll be wrecked.

    I think I was on the tour just before his session. We drove out of St. Wolfgang Austria for two days--May 31 and June 1. I think Atomic started on June 2.

    Porsche Travel Club does a fantastic job. We drove aggressively (over 160 mph on the autobahn, for example) but were always led by an experienced driver with whom we were always in radio contact). The accommodations were excellent, the food was terrific, and the driving participants were real enthusiasts. (BTW Joost, I am the owner of that white Carrera S I sent you photos of. I will be ordering a TT in December--right now I am favoring white with ocean blue interior and perhaps ocean blue rims to match)...

    nice work, Icon - I never understood why the black trim was standard. So many people like the look of lowered 911's, and the black trim makes the car look higer of the pavement. Plus the painted trim makes the car look more bulky.

    Any one know how much painting the front and back pieces would run??

    I'm planning to leave mine alone for this reason. Rock chips suck.

    Another reason for the black trim is it reduces the visual height of the car and makes it apear longer and slimer.
