    Plug covering screw-in socket for towing "eye". It's on every Porsche for years, now.

    I think the car is beautiful...however I have one nit to pick. Porsche hired a designer from Saab some time ago, and of course Saab has had their vestigal wing in their front grilles.

    Now look at the Turbo front view and part of the grille looks like a wing with landing lights.

    Is that meteor? hmmm, nice, but not stunnning. I think slate or atlas is the way to go. Very nice pics though. I always love it when finally "real" pics start showing up... not those pics that have been selected to show that perfect angle, with altered color etc... Thanks RC!

    Why does the Turbo not get the Carrera S Sports steering wheel as standard? Doesn't make sense to me. The normal steering wheel looks poor in comparison in my opinion.

    I didn't like the front of the car at all when I first saw pics and after seeing the car in person and now looking at pictures I can't believe how much the car has grown on me. That usually doesn't happen w/ me. Wonder if that's what it was like for designers ? The turbo cab is going to be crazy. Like the swiss army knife of the sports car world.

    JZ - The reason why that is not the sport steering wheel is because it's a tip. Shame that you cant get the sports wheel w/ the tip.

    I felt the same way about the wheels, wait till you see them in person (if you haven't already). It's the very first comment I made to the Porsche reps at the turbo lounge- couldn't believe how much more impactful the wheels are in person.

    Is it just me ? Or does looking at the curves in the front bumper remind others of something ? I'm thinking Pamela Anderson.

    I took that Pic at Geneva and it's Sand as well. I think you have to see it in person to make up your mind.

    Seriously there's not another car that can do everything like the turbo cab.

    The only other car that comes close is the Bently GT convertible. All wheel drive convertible with 4 seats but can't match the turbo's pace especially outside of a straight line.

    I've kept an open mind towards finding another vehicle that can do everything as well as the turbo cab, especially considering a loaded turbo cab w/ PCCB's is going to be up there in price but can't find anything that I can use to take my wife and kids to the beach top down on the weekends, storm the twisties on pace w/ my buddies and any other car and then drive everyday to work including during the winter months. The swiss army knife turbo cab.

    Have you decided yet?

    i also love the GTC in a stylish-kingpin-daily cruiser sort of way that the TT very much lacks by its 'stance'. i don't have rugrats but do have a movie star canine unit who does lay claim to rear-seating agenda when available...
