    Blue flame exhaust on Gallardo SE?

    Does anyone have experience with this or heard about it? Im my 06' gallardo se, when the engine is warmed up, and in any gear above second, when shifting at maximum possible RPM's, the exhaust shoots blue flames almost a foot long from both exhaust tips? This can be replicated extremely easy over and over, and it happens at 95% of the time when shifting at maximum possible rpm like i said. I kid you not, blue flames a foot to a foot and a half long.

    Is this normal for all Galardo's? Gallardo SE's? Has anyone heard of this before? I'm not complaining as I absolutely love it, I was just wondering if this was normal on Lambos'. Thanks in advance if you have any info regarding...

    I know the Gallardo SE tested by Fifth Gear did exactly as you describe, so I guess it's another Lambo showpiece

    Also known to occur w/F's in similar circums; been observed by a pal tailing my car....unfortunately, owners rarely are able to witness it, but have seen it when occasionally driving behind F's on fwy...and know of an instance where a CHP officer noticed the phenomenon from a distant fwy on-ramp...damn flammable Italian cars...

    I saw that also on either 5th gear or top gear.... yeahhh... that sorta surprised me. Seems as if it is a REAL racer, I'm sure that's normal though. The only reason a flame would come out is that a little unburned gas was just dumped...which occurs on race cars. Enjoy the blue flame.

    Whats great about the galardo SE is that it come standard with the nav system, which has a built in rear video-camera, so you can actually watch the flames shoot out the back with the camera on. Gota love it. Thanks for the replies
