This is definitely something I would like to do on my next trip! I have never landed on water and they fly out of beautiful Rose Bay which makes it even nicer :)

martini964, it seems pretty "normal" to him-- he isn't bothered by that snake at all, haha. Thankfully we didn't encounter that, but my wife and daughter saw a huge huntsman spider sitting in the corner above a door of a friend's house. We're told they're not dangerous, but I still wouldn't want them in my house.

you can come a little up north in vancouver and do that right next to Stanley park

Sydney is very photogenic!

Sydney is really cool, especially at night when the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are lit up. My daughter loves it there because people still take the chance to speak to strangers, start conversations, or go out for spontaneous drinks or dates, no matter what day of the week.

Wonderful pictures Pilot! The atmosphere of a friendly city by night is amazing.
One of the things I always like to do when I am travelling is to wander around cities in the evening... the lighting always makes for special pictures.

...in Watson's Bay was built in 1837. It is a very lovely place to have a break from the daily routine or, as their website suggests, to get married in a very picturesque setting ;-)
After our walk from Rose Bay to Watson's Bay we enjoyed coffee and dessert there before we took the ferry back to Circular Quay. I was pleased with the friendly service and how everything was presented.

It was a great trip again to Sydney! Three weeks went by like nothing. I think I need to come up with a better plan. Mrs. Pilot really loved it and I can see us moving there! 
The flower below was left behind on a bench in Mosman Bay, almost as if someone knew we would come by and sit down. I didn't even have to touch it for this shot...

Yay! Date Night...
Today is the day! I'm taking the GT3 out for the first time since our trip to Sydney ;-) Can't wait to start the motor and see the smoke coming out of the tailpipes...I hope she still likes me!

It was birthday night for me...
After we got out of the movies my wife suggested I take a photo of the car because it was the only one in the structure. It was pretty cool seeing it so empty, but since I had a beautiful model with me I wanted to include her as well...
