Actually, it is. 
Rossi is also certainly right, I would add black wheels to the mix.
Unfortunately, the new 991.2 Turbo S doesn't sound a bit better than the old one, so...no thanks.

Anyway, do not compare the Auto, Motor und Sport times with other car magazines because AutoBILD Sportscars or Auto Zeitung usually achieve better times than AMS for whatever reasons (AMS uses some highly standardized test method, maybe this is the reason...
).
Also, I heard that the Turbo S test car did 0-300 kph in around 29 seconds, so the car may not have been fully run in or whatever. Usually, there isn't really a difference between the new R8 and the new TTS.

What is the expected 0-300 time for 991.2 TTS?

I heard that pre-production test cars did 0-300 kph in under 26 seconds (25.x, something like that). I expect a time of at least 28 seconds or less from 0-300 kph. Maybe AutoBILD will post a 0-300 kph time, they sometimes do.
Most pre-production cars did 0-200 kph in under the factory claim (9.9 seconds) but none under 9.5 seconds, so the AMS time would be just right.

seems like the new turbo S is good for everything - same track time as RS, easy and comfortable to drive daily, 4WD for all weather capability.
somehow I never feel like I will ever buy one as their depreciation is bad in the long run.

Targa Tim:seems like the new turbo S is good for everything - same track time as RS, easy and comfortable to drive daily, 4WD for all weather capability.
somehow I never feel like I will ever buy one as their depreciation is bad in the long run.
Best to buy after probably year 2 when they are back at the prices they were when the 997 was out. You can find 2014 TTS for $130K in the US nowadays.

It is a 29.X car...Which of course doesn't stop me from enjoying it every day.

What he said. Lighter cars with more power aren't 25s, so I don't see why a TTS would improve so much. It just doesn't have enough power, and that's what you need at those high speeds.

Dear KresoF1, in AMS test 991.2 TTS is even slower than 991.2 TT in this test: 9.8 vs 9.7 secs for 0-200. Very
strange for me. How is that possible?

...which is less than 8% difference in power for an identical car which is driven on it's physical limit. It is not surprising the times are almost identical. They should be

First test with 2 (Driver + Passenger) onboard and Michelin PS Cup 2.
Second test with 1 (Driver only) onboard and Pirelli P Zero.

isn't the 991.2 TTS supposed to be faster than the 991.1 TTS? Factory claims are 0.4 seconds faster to 200kph in favor of the 991.2 TTS
