The question is if the 997 turbo is faster even by any margin. The F430 does 200kph in 12.2-12.5s. We don't now the real data for the turbo yet, but since the GT3 seems to have difficulties posting claimed times I wouldn't be optimistic. The F430 is a tough competitor, as is the 599 in its territory.

Yeah I heard about it being a typo but I found the 13.2 time strange too, because then it would take strangely long time from 160 to 200 (in comparison with other tests) as the time to 160 was 8.3.
Btw Road and Track's and Car and Driver's times to 100mph were 8.1 and 7.9 seconds, hence mid to low 12s range to 200 still seems possible. (but i don't want to discuss their abusive manners
)I guess we will have to wait and see.

2. difficulties posting claimed factory times? Would you please explain because I don't understand. A difference of 0.2 seconds from 0-200 kph is worth...nothing. Outside temperature, air pressure, etc. up to 0.5 seconds difference, no problem.

There has only been one test. Until there are more, we cannot say anything about how the car performs IRL. I think it will better the factory numbers.

I have never said the F430 is a competitor for the GT3. We have been comparing the turbo with the F430 all the time. Missverständnis
But you're absolutely right in case of the second point and we'll have to wait for other tests.
