    Why there is 7HP difference between E.U and U.S version CGT

    I don't know why there is 7 HP difference between them.
    U.S version says CGT has 605 HP where as E.U version has 615 HP.....
    Some says U.S version has 7 less HP because It has one more resonator to meet U.S emission test where E.U version has only 2 resonator.

    do you mean eu version has 612 hp?
    in any event porsches figures for the cgt are very conservative.

    It's a difference in horsepower rating. 612 DIN horsepower vs. 605 SAE horsepower. The car has the same power anywhere you go.

    i think you mean the same hp figures.
    actual hp is understated!

    James Watt measured a horse's power at 745 watts, except he was too modest to call his rating system a "watt". He called his unit of power "horse power".

    Metric horses were not quite so well fed, so metric 1 hp (PS) came out at 735.5 watts.

    In other words, the different figures are explained mainly by this slight difference between metric and Imperial units of power. The "modern" unit of power according to ISO standards is the Kilowatt (kW).

    There may also be small differences in the conditions specified by the different standards (ISO, SAE) at which engine power is to be measured, e.g., atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature, but I do not have any information on that to hand.
