oh no....my thoughts are with you and your 987. Just think of it this way, it could've gotten a lot worse.
Best of luck.
The front chassis members were bent at right angles to the car, the driver and passenger were unhurt, the steering column and pedal-box hadn't moved and both doors could be opened and shut normally. Amazing.

This happened. A moments lack of paying proper attention, at a speed of no more than 10 km/h. Every driver's worse nightmare, in a foreign country, where I don't speak the language, a road traffic accident. Thankfully no one was hurt, but thank Ferdinand that Porsche-jeck was on hand to sort out the third party, the police... A thousand thanks, no a million thanks to Porsche-jeck for being on hand to sort it all out for us, we would have been in real trouble had it not been for your help. I feel terrible for ruining a wonderful day out that he had planned for us. The car was perfectly driveable, a testiment to the strength of build, next day we travelled back to England, from Rheindahlen to Southampton in 8 hours door to door, including the ferry trip from Calais to Dover. My baby is now in our Porsche-hospital, Porsche Insurance were extremely efficient and helpful, the workshop had approval for the repairs within hours of my phone call, and hopefully, will have her back by the end of next week.

germany should be more hospitable for visiting porsches (maybe locking those opels away)
(Speedster), which is quite rare and fun to play with, but for sure the ugly Zafiras should be locked away

- looking forward to the big international Rennteam-meeting planned by RC(whenever and whereever it may take place) Quote:
