Buying a 997TT or GT3

Gents: Those that have ordered a 997TT or GT3, kindly please tell me what the lowest price on the 997TT with the necessary (must have) equipment is. As dumb as this may sound, I have been buying Porsche's since 1994 from the same dealership. This means when I walk in since I know the GM there I drive out with a new car. I am weak for cars and since the GM is my friend he offers me the best possible price so there is no haggling. I just would like to know what to expect when I go there; how much and how long of a wait for 997TT and GT3

Get both... one does not replace the other... but they compliment eachother pretty well.

But seriously: of course you're right. But since he asked about the best possible price, I doubt he can (or wants to) afford both cars at the same time.

Can't say much about US prices and rebates. Over here in Germany, I doubt that any dealer would provide a rebate for a 997 Turbo launch car. Very unlikely.
Delivery time? Well...my dealer already sold all his cars for this year.
Another user from the US mentioned that Champion Porsche in Florida (the largest Porsche dealer?) has already orders for 150 997 Turbo. 150 orders...WOW.

I also talked to several people in Europe and the US and apparently some were lucky to get one of the first cars and others have to wait until autum, being on a waiting list for a few months already. It really depends how big your dealer is and where he is located. I can't imagine that Beverly Hills Porsche would give you their first cars, unless your name can be read in the daily headlines of the glamour press.

I am with RC, Blueline you are absolutely right they are gr8 together, but only if you pay for two pairs for me and RC.

RC as you may know the U.S.A is an amazing country. In no time there will all of sudden be an ample supplies of 997TT. Granted not all will be out of the showroom. They might have a 1000 or 2000 miles on them but they have a full new car warranty. I am not looking for a used car but I fall in love with 997TT or GT3 can't get my hands on a brand new one I will settle for one with less than 3000 miles
