    CR Spotless System

    Does anyone have any experience with this water de-ionizing system? The firm advertises in the monthly PCA mag. Their website link is CR Spotless

    I have a black C2S and if I don't dry the water in a hurry, it leaves the dreaded water spots. The product sounds great. Looking for some info from anyone who might have tried it.

    I got mine about 3 months ago and the system works great. I wash my car and then blow dry it with a leaf blower and any water left behind leaves absolutely no spots. The CR spotless system comes with a test light that you can check to see if the water is being de-ionized. If you are a PCA member, you'll get 5% off for the asking.

    A friend of mine had three of us over for a group washing/detailing session, to show the newbies the ropes.
    We probably did 6 washes and not a spot after any of them. Sometimes we used some light towel drying to expedite the process, but it wasn't necessary.

    One of the guys at CR Spotless likes to rinse his car off, park it, and then hit the paint with some detailing spray the next morning.

    The only thing to consider is whether the cost is worth it to you. I'm told deionized water is safe on aluminum and such...

    Thanks for the info. It sounds like it works as well as they claim it does. I am going to order it. It is worth it to me. If you have a black car, you need all the help you can get to keep it looking great.

    Wow a group washing/detailing workshop. Whatever happen to just washing a car like the old days? Before getting my 997 I hated washing my cars and after buying my 997 I still hate washing my cars. Maybe I need to try this new system if it will cut down on the amount of time? Good thing the 997 is a small car.

    I used mine for the first time yesterday and it worked great. We are on well water with a high mineral content so any water that dried on the car left a nice white spot. Not anymore. We'll see how the product works over time and the average life of the cartridges.

    Absolutely awesome system. Get the larger of the 3 units or else you will be replacing filters often if you have alot of minerals or sediment in your water
