    Outstanding....here is a question - this Ruf or a Singer????

    The Singer is a finely restored 964 with a lot of exquisite details.

    This new CTR is something totally different. The CTR has a carbon monocoque  with its own unique dimensions, it has crash structures and unique suspension layout. This is not a Porsche it is a Ruf which has the appearance of the 1989 Carrera based 911 CTR, so much work has gone into this, I'm awestruck Smiley 

    The spec on this car is incredible, 30 very lucky people out there.

    I wonder how Ruf is consider a manufacter if they are using almost 100% Porsche design and parts!

    The new Yellowbird really did look superb. RUF does hang on to a few signature things like the wheels and steering wheel which give all the cars a similar theme, and I don't think appeals to everyone (including me).

    I did spend an afternoon at the factory though and they were nice enough to give me a full tour, and I was really impressed by them - really great engineering, and quite innovative - who else out there builds a V8 from scratch to fit a 911? The 911 silhouette hides a really original piece of engineering in this case.

    Just a bit outside my budget

    It is not a full carbon monocoque, only the floor plan is carbon, front and back and roof structures are of tubular steel, but it is correct that the car doesn't uses a single Porsche part for the body in white. 

    Planned production is 30 cars, 25 cars have been spoken for as of today.

    Have to say the dry weight of 1200kg is surprisingly heavy considering all the CF, it's about 100kg lighter than a GT2RS, I suppose those crash structures and internal roll cage must add back at lot of the weight saved....
