Allahando's wins are like a 10-year old girl defeating Mike Tyson because Tyson's shorts are too long or his spittoon contained traces of detergent.
Allahando is the F1 equivalent to David Beckham: Modern day girlieman who has brilliantly figured out how to capitalize on a modest talent.
It's goodbye butch roughness and battles of former days (and I do NOT refer to reckless driving) and hello hitech "please dont take any chances" sissy driving.
F1 today is more about pleasing sponsors, making sure you are politically correct, making the right carreer moves and operating a hyperhitech spaceship, than actually DRIVING and proving your worth as a driver.
Gayondo is probably headed for a second title (and I'm not referring to his "SportsDwarf of the Year" title in "Midget Monthly") and that's great for him, his team and his hairdresser, but sad for F1.
And where is Kimi, you ask?
Sadly he belongs to the oldfashioned driver category - and also has less durable equipment than Gayondo.
I believe Renault has an awesome team setup - and that is mainly what might bag the title for Alhomso.
And now...I need my Novocaines..![]()
Kimi wasn't too exiting at Imola was he, while Montoya was... same car. However the only little exitement of that race was Alonso storming up to Schumy in the second half.
Alonso is the only one that could beat Schumy after 7 years, and a new comer at that, with a new F1 team, and being the yougest ever to do it too... I think thats good for F1. If his driving style is too sophisticated for you then so be it, but look into the history of F1 for the past champions and you will see they all have a comon denominator... they drive with their heads.
I think its time to bring out last seasons Kimi pins, seems they are still valid for this year.
