    INSURANCE

    Curious what poeple are paying for insurance on 997's any models around the country, just wanted to see if it was a lot different depending on where you live

    Florida and not the best driving record.../allstate $210.00 a month

    My agent said $1,900 per year(when my "baby" arrives). That price includes my current daily driver.

    Went up $990/yr when I added the 997S Cab... Forty yr old male; Georgia; One speeding ticket about two yrs ago.

    rural Pennsylvania, been lucky in that my last ticket was in 1985;
    State Farm Insurance $75. per month '06997S coupe.

    I have CNA. House, boat and three vehicles including 2005 911s. Porsche alone is $1,086.

    I plan on doing some shopping around before I collect the baby- right now I'm with AAA ( CA State Auto Assoc). My current rate is about $475 per year- without P-car of course. I'm 44yrs young, no tickets( in over 10 yrs) and no accidents.

    Oh, I'm in the CA central valley- rates are likely a bit higher here due to a very high auto theft rate and so many uninsured motorists.

    $983/year with USAA in Denver - male, 62, 3 cars, 911 5,000 miles/year

    Originally with State Farm, yearly premium $1200. Moved to Progressive, yearly premium down to $900. Male, good driving record, 7.5K miles per year.

    State Farm also, $423.59 every 6 months which comes to $70.60 per month, in NC. I also insure another car and my home with them so I get those discounts.

    $1400 (Can$). Collision April to Nov. Fire/theft all year, $1,000,000 libility, 1,000 deductable. Waiver of depreciation for 2 year. Boomerang tracking installed. 45 years. Clean record. 2005 997 coupe.

    My 997 C4S is insured for US$220,000 and my insurance premium comes to US$2,600/year with Porsche. I have maximum NCB (60% off) and a clean driving record.

    I am not in the US so I am not sure how relevant this is.
