    Waiting for a boat

    My dealer advised me yesterday that my car was built on 12 April and is currently at the dock awaiting shipment to San Diego. I'm told it will be 3 weeks on the water, and another week to reach my dealer in Bellingham WA. I hoping that an early June trip along the Oregon and California coastline will be a perfect way to relax and break the car in on a 1,000+ mile journey back to the OC.

    My car:

    C2S coupe Atlas Grey with 2-tone black/stone grey interior
    XRR wheels
    Bose
    Nav and 666 phone module
    power seats
    hot seats - girlfriend insisted!
    self dimming mirrors
    leather rear center console
    CUV storage bin with model logo
    black instrument dials
    sport exhaust

    and no ugly Sport Chrono + ....

    Why can't you have them deliver it to you where you physically are? Seems silly to have it go all the way to Washington via truck only for you to have to drive it back. (Did anyone mention fuel resources?)

    I'm going to visit my summer home in MT first, then drive home. Sure, I could have had it delivered to a dealer 25 miles from home, and then enjoyed a 20 MPH bumper/bumper commute on the 91 Freeway - what fun would that be?
