Does anyne know if the Lexus RX is due for a change/e-fresh?

Sorry, I know it's somewhat off -topic for a sports car thread but RENNTEAMERS know better than anyone.

The SUV is for my mom and she asked me to find out if the vehicle is due for any type of change since she is interested in buying one.

Also any comments good/bad or about options would be appreciated.

It's been facelifted with the new 3.5L V6 engine (the one used in the new IS350). The next generation is scheduled to arrive on March 2008.

No facelift other than the aforementioned engine upgrade. There is also the RX400h, Lexus' hybrid model.

Reliable quasi-SUV. I have the '02 RX300, and have experience with the newer '05 RX330 (my mother's). The newer RX's are much tighter and accelerate more briskly than my model year. I would expect the new 350 engine to improve upon that. My family has not had one problem with either Lexus, very impressive! Not the most exciting drive, but gets us around safely with some "style".
