) of one this summer when my dealer gets a 997TT coupe at launch. And maybe the 997TCab and GT2 will have a different wheel option, as well. But the rest of the 997TT aesthetically looks fine to me, even in spy-pic drag. I say keep the traditional 911 nose with solo round headlamps, the one item missing cosmetically from the 996 line.

Stradale,
My only major gripe with the 997TT (including the cab pics) is the rims. True, I haven't yet seem them live, only in pics, but I prefer the clean lines of a standard solid "spoke" setup. I should get a view (and maybe a test drive) of one this summer when my dealer gets a 997TT coupe at launch. And maybe the 997TCab and GT2 will have a different wheel option, as well. Intouch1,
It's a good thing the 997TT test mules have rollbars-don't they scoot around with 600HP?![]()

Al,
RE: The wheels- That's one of the things I just mentioned in another thread.
Months ago when we first saw pictures of the rims I didn't like the design, thought it looked too much like one of the Cayenne wheels. In person the wheels are hot. Hard to explain but the the way they curve from the very outside part of the rim towards the inner, middle part where the wheel bolts are is much more dramatic in person. The dual finish is very cool too...But I know what you're saying the dark grey Turbo S wheels are one of my all time favorites for factory wheels.
btw: Just realized I was right about the HP. When a lot of guys were saying 500 HP I posted it would be 480HP tops. Did I win anything ? lol
