Also had a rewarding morning - first time hit 250 km/h on the Autobahn (still avoiding redline) with my 72 yrs old Dad as a passenger - he looked 10 yrs younger afterwards fishing for compliments when he climbed out of the car in a very elegant manner![]()
They'd lock you up and throw away the key if you did that over here, you lucky chap
That's assuming you could find a stretch of road traffic free enough to try

) - But take it easy when driving in Belgium - they don't lock you up, but speed tickets are extremely expensive (even if you're doing just 10 km/h above the speed limit) and they even might seize your car

Enjoy the Autobahn during your stay (hope your wife won't be scared too much) - But take it easy when driving in Belgium - they don't lock you up, but speed tickets are extremely expensive (even if you're doing just 10 km/h above the speed limit) and they even might seize your car
Have a safe trip - looking forward to meet up with you soon![]()
She Who Must Be Obeyed tends to get nervous if I go (what she considers to be) too fast - might leave her at her daughter's on Saturday and bring the son-in-law along if SWMBO doesn't behave!
