That'll annoy some R owners ('investors')!
Shame it's manual only.
Hahaha,
Don't forget the bling for Nick
R today touring tomorrow
Indeed a shame no PDK - much desired for canyon slamming.
With the US GT3 delay, I wonder who else is thinking of changing their GT3 order to touring?
If I wanted bling I would have stayed with Ferrari. That said, I don't want a car that looks like millions of 911's and pay almost a supercar price for it. The touring version of the GT3 is stupid. Better off going with the GTS.
Haha El Blingmeister anguished over all those blingy bits in his gt3 order🙈🙈🙈
Jack of all performance options, Master of Bling😎
Sun's Strads and Scuds were all performance blingless rockets of the canyon, Nick🤓
The Gt3 though different in style from other 911's still needs some styling upgrades which I am happy to add.
Now if only we can get you to post using English instead of Lord Of the Rings genre language.

the owners should not go so fast such that the rear spoiler opens. it looks pretty stupid

I Agree, it would be even worse if it were larger and permanent, like something for a race track..................

Haha Nick
Didnt they shoot Lord of the Rings in NZ? 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
They passed on La Jolla - too many Starbucks👻👻
We appreciate your bling expertise!!! It's a major sub industry for Porsche.
Gauss' pix certainly show it's a Sleeper -- might as well offer a 4wd touring model as well..,and a targa touring for La Jolla. And a touring Cab for Malibu👍

Gauss:GT3 has to be with wing for me but it looks good in any case.
Unveiling in a couple of weeks.
Given its origin (2.7 RS) also existed with a Touring package, I think it's acceptable. Visually I love it.
1992 Mercedes-Benz W124 500E / 2003 BMW M3 CSL (sold) / 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 RS / 2014 BMW-Alpina D3 biturbo Touring / 2014 BMW-Alpina B3 biturbo Touring Allrad
The 1972 911 2.7 Carrera RS M472 Touring was equipped standard with the Ducktail but could be ordered with the wing delete option (a quite seldom occurency). As such if Porsche calls this 991 GT3 "Touring" , my guess that it would be historically inaccurate (for what is worth).
This is how the wing delete on the 911 2.7 Carrera RS , looked like. Very cool and understated , notice no scripts either which were also an option at that time.

I believe I read that Louise Piech's RS and her son Peter's RS were both Sportomatic. When your name is Porsche or Piech you are not encumbered by what other people think your Porsche should be. Ferry's was a ducktail and script delete in a light green metallic if memory serves.

Just got word that my .2 GT3 PTS was approved. However looks like April/May build with June/July delivery. Not so bad since I am still enjoying my .2 C2S. I was pretty hot for the Touring Package but rumors seem to have it morphing into more than just a wing delete which doesn't appear to be what I am seeking. Well by the time I get fthe car all will have long been revealed. By the way went with 226 lindgrun aka chartreuse. Acid green stitching and piping (18 way) on seat w/ acid green GT3 on headrests. Lot of people asking for carbon fiber for the black satin accents (CXX) but evidently no has been the consistent answer. Might look good, might be too much?

I guess it will look similar to this:
'Chartreuse' is softer than Birch. This is how it is featured on the official site ('Ur-Elfer'): https://newsroom.porsche.com/de/christophorus/porsche-targa-farben-11175.html
(my order has been in for a while too)
