Powers sends me a on line form every time I buy a Porsche. I ignored the last one and got a letter from the customer relations head of PCNA asking me to complete it. I started to and after 20 minutes of questions I said fuck it I will not spend anymore time on this. The nerve to have a questionnaire that requires over 1/2 of a customers time. However, they do send a one dollar bill for my trouble,

it is a possible CXX option with basically any kind of possible color already done from them...apart the ''protected'' color.

Boxster Coupe GTS:Personally, IMO metallic black looks great on a GT3... day and night!
OK let’s get colour geeky here. Jet Black is better than Basalt, but they both take on a greyish tinge and lack depth in sunlight. There is just no beating flat black. Harris can always put PPF on it if it’s a daily.

It's really personal preference choosing between different versions of "black", but to my eyes, Basalt Metallic Black looks fantastic in sunlight... 
...the better the weather, the better it looks!

I agree . The car looks bad in this color sheme. Sporty colors are not made for the Tourign + the bright silver rims don’t fit it at all. Actually the bright silver rims only suit a very few cars .
What is the general take on the black door handle option ? Can it work ?

..
Depends what you pair it with. On a retro feel Touring they work well a la @Porker's and wait till you see mine

I think it can. Although I wouldn't have the courage to spec it on my own GT3. However I've seen it on chalk in a video and thought it looked quite nice. Let me see if I can fetch the video.
