    New 997 GT3 RS pics

    here are some pics of the new 997 GT3 RS. germancarfans staes possiblle 3.8l lighter glass and composite bodypanel and extensive use of carbon fiber and the main reason for this car is suppose to homologate the up comming 2007 997 GT3 RSR!!!! great news..Porsche is the Best!

    I really hope that they only offer it in white like the last one. I'm not crazy about the wing, but it's not bad. Thanks for the pics.

    I'd love to have a drive in that car, even with the rear wing. I also really like the GT3 alloys. Wonder if they will fit the C2S and how much they will be?

    Seconded. The standard GT3 wing is the only thing that looks odd. The more classical RS wing fixes that.

    It takes all sorts, apparently.

    All the photos are of the "same" car (number plate), but the first photo has black rims on the left, and the other photos show silver wheels on the right. Also, the front wheel has Pccb's and the rear wheel appears not to have Pccb's

    I don't understand why if the CGT can have a retractable wing, they cannot put one on the GT2 and GT3. I love both cars, but the wing is just a deal killer for me. I really can't be driving around town in a car with a ricer wing on the back.

    guys... it's a GT3 RS. when was the last time they offered a track-version 911 w/out a large wing?! i personally think it's nicer than the funny curved one on the regular GT3.

    1992, I think. It was 964 Carrera Cup USA had a normal retractable wing (street legal race car).

    Hey, if you're driving an RS around, I don't think just the wing will be the tip-off that you're driving a racecar

    That's not what I meant to imply, just that the retractable feature is for looks only, of course the wing still works.

    That wing belongs on a Cessna, can't complain with an RS though.
    All you can do is hope you get the chance to drive one
