    closer, but not bc of power, bc of gearing, and again, the Z06 has no interior(quality), thus it is very light...also like Porsche, lambo has given back some weight to have sure footedness in handling....what this means is in real life corners YOU will be faster as a normal driver and having more fun...isnt that what is about?

    Also, the G-car is AWD and in reality lacks something like 30 crank horsepower to the Vette (that car is underrated). It didn't do bad at all, if you ask me.

    It seems like after a little a while the Gallardo backs off and slows down as the vette jumps away. The Z06 is a monster and no doubt faster than Gallardo. The only question is how long will that engine last, will it fall apart after a few thousand miles under hard driving?

    I think the engine will be just fine. However, did you see when the Vette started pulling away? Right after the gearchange. Perhaps the Gallardo is left for dead by its gear ratios?

    Guys, be patient. We're planning a "real life" comparison between the 997 Turbo, Gallardo SE and Z06. Should happen sometimes in July this year. Stay tuned. And yes, a video will be made, incl. some pics.
